This a huge opportunity for you to showcase your skills as a DJ and music programmer.
Please make sure you prep music as you would for any other paid event. Music should be high quality and edits should be clean versions.
Please work with show promoter and networking chair persons with a run of show and are sure you have appropriate music for the theme of the event and prepare to get people dancing when possible.
We require that you be on-time, be friendly and professional and that you actively seek to create relationship that will benefit the company.
Please dress appropriately, bring business cards, name badge, and make sure your social media profiles are up to date and have appropriate content for the live events industry.
Tampa Bay DJ Company will cover the association dues and ticket cost of the event.
Description:
A representative of Tampa Bay DJ Company, Lumen Crafted, or DJ Cory Barron will arrive on time—or early—to meet with venue personnel and perform a comprehensive field safety and logistics evaluation. This inspection ensures all technical and safety standards are met prior to your event.
What’s Included:
- On-site walkthrough with venue management or event coordinator
- Verification of power access, distribution, and grounding
- Space and rigging evaluation for lighting, special effects, and A/V installations
- Identification of load-in routes, setup zones, and storage areas
- Documentation of findings, recommendations, and follow-up notes
Purpose:
This inspection helps our team plan a safe, efficient, and visually stunning setup tailored to your venue’s unique layout—ensuring every detail meets professional and venue-specific requirements.
Cory will perform a walkthrough and advise the property on sound direction and current applicable laws regarding sound ordnances.
